What began as a routine drive ended with a wildlife drama caught on camera.
Andre Chan was on his way home in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, when he spotted three coyotes on the run. After two crossed the street, he noticed something else — a black bear in the Walmart parking lot.
“It looked up and then the pack started chasing it, the third one across the street joined,” Chan said. “I am not sure if the coyotes are actually chasing the bear for food or for fun.”

This isn’t the only wild scene to unfold on camera. Nearly 3,000 miles away in Plymouth, Connecticut, Tyler Nolan and his family spotted a bear on top of a railway bridge over a river.
From the safety of their car, the family soon realized the bear wasn’t alone — a cub was with her. They watched as the mother bear interacted with her baby before the cub suddenly fell from the bridge into the river below.
The dramatic rescue that followed was also caught on video.

Nolan said both bears appeared unharmed and quickly disappeared into the woods.
