Vance will take the mic for ‘Charlie Kirk Show’ on Monday

Vice President Vance will host the “The Charlie Kirk Show” on Monday, sitting in for his friend who was fatally shot on Wednesday.

He announced the gig Sunday night on social platform X, along with a photo of his desk, a microphone and a china cup and saucer. The show starts at noon EDT on Rumble.

Hours after Charlie Kirk’s death, Vance honored him in a lengthy post on X.

“And now that Charlie is in heaven, I’ll ask him to talk to big man directly on behalf of his family, his friends, and the country he loved so dearly,” Vance said. “You ran a good race, my friend. We’ve got it from here.”

Vance said Kirk first reached out to him in 2017, after he appeared on former Fox News host Tucker Carlson’s show. The vice president added that before he launched his Senate candidacy in 2021, Kirk “was one of the first people I called” and played a key role in his 2022 victory.

On Thursday, Vance and second lady Usha Vance flew to Utah to bring Kirk’s family and his casket home to Phoenix on Air Force Two.

Andrew Kolvet, a producer of “The Charlie Kirk Show,” hosted Friday’s program, joined by alongside Kirk’s friends Tyler Bowyer, Jack Posobiec and Blake Neff, NewsNation reported.
