Investing.com — U.S. President Donald Trump will meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping next week as part of his upcoming trip to Asia, the White House announced Thursday.
Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said Trump will depart for Malaysia late Friday night, with his itinerary including stops in multiple Asian countries.
The meeting with Xi is scheduled for Thursday in South Korea, according to the White House.

Trump’s Asia trip also includes meetings with other regional leaders. On Tuesday, he will meet with the new Japanese Prime Minister, and on Wednesday, he will hold talks with South Korea’s leader.
