GUATEMALA CITY (Reuters) -Taiwan’s President Lai Ching-te has postponed his visit to Guatemala until further notice due to damages from a typhoon which brought down torrential rains and forced thousands to evacuate, an embassy official in Guatemala told Reuters on Tuesday.
Lai was expected to travel to several of Taiwan’s remaining allies in the Americas next month.
