The presidential candidate of the Labour Party in 2023, Mr. Peter Obi, had yet to cast his vote on election day as of 10:30 a.m., despite the arrival of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officials at his polling unit in Anambra State.
Obi, a former governor of the state, is expected to vote at Umudimakasi, Agulu Ward 2, Polling Unit 008, where a number of residents and supporters had gathered in anticipation of his arrival.
Election officials at the polling centre confirmed that accreditation had commenced, but Obi had not yet appeared at the venue.

Residents of Anambra State are heading to the polls today to determine the state’s political direction, with many keeping a close watch on the voting pattern in Agulu, Obi’s hometown.
