McCaskill reacts to Columbia’s deal with Trump to restore funding

Columbia University will pay $200 million to the federal government and agree to a series of reforms in a deal with the Trump administration aimed at resolving allegations that it failed to protect Jewish students during pro-Palestinian protests. As part of the settlement, Columbia will follow the administration’s ban on DEI in hiring and admissions, and implement new antisemitism response measures. The Morning Joe panel reacts.
