… As Kim wins 2025 company’s professional service award in pharmacy

Nigeria’s premier pharmaceutical manufacturing company, May & Baker Nigeria Plc, has reaffirmed its commitment to excellence and innovation in pharmacy practice even as it announced Pharm. Kim Jerry Bot, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of KIMKY Pharmaceuticals and Enterprises, and Director General/Chief Executive Officer of the Plateau State Drugs and Medical Commodities Management Agency (PS-DMCMA), as the winner of the 2025 May & Baker Professional Service Award in Pharmacy.
Bot emerged winner of the highly coveted award ahead of several other distinguished professionals, in recognition of his outstanding, innovative, and impactful contributions to pharmaceutical sciences, public health, and research in Nigeria.
The award, instituted in 2005 by May & Baker Nigeria Plc, remains one of the most prestigious honors in the nation’s pharmaceutical landscape, designed to celebrate exceptional achievements and service in pharmacy practice, academia, and public health leadership.
This year’s award comes with an enhanced cash prize of ₦1.5 million, following the upward review approved by the Managing Director/CEO of May & Baker Nigeria Plc, Pharm. Patrick Ajah, reaffirming the company’s commitment to rewarding excellence and inspiring innovation within the profession. Pharm. Bot becomes the first recipient to benefit from the new prize value.
The presentation took place during the 98th Annual National Conference of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), held recently in Kano, where Pharm. Bot received the award plaque and certificate from Pharm. Chiagozie Maduneme, Head of Sales, Pharma Sales and Marketing, May & Baker Nigeria Plc.
In his acceptance remarks, Pharm. Bot expressed deep appreciation to the PSN and May & Baker for the recognition, describing the honor as a powerful motivation to continue advancing excellence, ethical standards, and innovation in the field of pharmacy.
“This recognition strengthens my resolve to keep contributing to a stronger, more resilient pharmaceutical sector — one that prioritizes quality, accessibility, and professional integrity,” he said.
