Michael Gordon, a former Assistant U.S. Attorney, has filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration, alleging he was wrongfully terminated for prosecuting January 6 rioters. In his first TV interview since filing, Gordon tells Morning Joe that he received top performance ratings and had just indicted a major fraud case the same week he was fired: “I wasn’t fired because I did something wrong…I was fired because I enforced the law.”
