It was a carnival-like homecoming for Governor Chukwuma Soludo as he was warmly received by his people in Isuofia, Aguata Local Government Area, during the grand finale of his governorship campaign in the area.

In a major show of support, the community donated ₦200 million to boost his campaign — one of the highest single community donations recorded so far.

Addressing the massive crowd gathered at the Central School Field, Isuofia, Governor Soludo urged residents to come out en masse and vote for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the November 8, 2025 governorship election.

Amid singing, dancing and chants from enthusiastic supporters, Soludo stressed the significance of civic engagement and the responsibility of every eligible voter.

“Election day is not just about choosing leaders; it is about choosing the future we want for our children and generations to come. Let us come together and show the strength of our community,” he said.

“Across Anambra, they say we are the consensus candidate, but your vote is your voice. On November 8, I urge each of you to make that voice heard.”

The governor spoke about the power of grassroots mobilization and highlighted key achievements of his administration that have impacted communities across the state.

“We have accomplished so much together, but there is still more work to be done. Your continued support is vital for us to reach our goals,” he added.

The event also gave community leaders and influencers the opportunity to publicly declare their support for Soludo, reinforcing his strong bond with his hometown.

A stakeholder, Chief Evarist Ubah, remarked: “Soludo has shown unwavering commitment to our state. We must stand by him and ensure he has the mandate to continue his good work.”

The President General of the Isuofia People’s Movement, Engr. Fidelis Okafor, alongside Engr. Ifeanyi Ifemelu and other community leaders, also endorsed Soludo’s candidacy.

“As our son, Governor Soludo has always been accessible to us, listening to our concerns and needs. His dedication to grassroots governance has transformed the state and projected our community positively,” Okafor said.

Engr. Ifemelu added: “His policies have had a meaningful impact on our lives. It is essential for him to return to office to sustain this momentum. We need his leadership now more than ever.”

Governor Soludo’s homecoming rally in Isuofia served not only to galvanize electoral support but also to celebrate unity and community pride.

With a donation exceeding ₦200 million and strong backing from his hometown, Soludo is aiming for a decisive victory as he seeks to continue his tenure as Governor of Anambra State.
