Nnewi, Anambra State – Senator representing Anambra North Senatorial Zone, Dr. Tony Nwoye, cast his vote at Nsugbe Ward 1, Anambra East Local Government Area, at approximately 9:43 a.m. on Saturday.
Speaking to journalists after voting, Senator Nwoye expressed concern over what he described as low voter turnout, noting that preliminary reports from across the state suggested the possibility of voter apathy.
Despite this, he commended the efforts of security personnel and praised the electorate for maintaining calm and order during the exercise.
“I am impressed with the discipline and orderliness of our voters. It is a good sign for the democratic process,” he said.
