PARIS (AP) — France’s foreign minister says Iran has released a teenage French-German cyclist who disappeared in June while riding across the country.
“Lennart Monterlos is free!” the minister, Jean-Noël Barrot, posted Wednesday on X.
The post said Monterlos has been returned to France but gave no details.
Iran continues to hold two other French nationals, Cécile Kohler and Jacques Paris. Barrot again called for their immediate release.
