Ryan Gravenberch hooked the ball into the net to put the champions in front and Hugo Ekitike doubled their lead during a dominant first-half display.
Everton pulled a goal back through Idrissa Gueye but could not find an equaliser as Arne Slot’s men went six points clear at the top of the table ahead of the later kick-offs.
